Can you capture Paul McCartney's piano in a plugin?
Do you fancy playing Paul McCartney's piano? Now you can, thanks to the sample outfit Spitfire Audio, which released Mrs Mills Piano. The British company, best known for its media composer focused sample libraries, such as BBC Symphonic Orchestra and the free LABS series of sampled instruments, recorded the Steinway Vertegrand upright piano in the studio Abbey Road made famous by The Beatles. The original piano featured on classics such as Penny Lane and With A Little Help From My Friends.
Mrs Mills Piano comes with five presets, and is NKS compatible, with a hefty library size of 4.6 GB - so get a cup of tea when you download this one.

Our View
If you are after a pristine sound this plugin might not be for you. But the special tuning and modifications done to the original piano back in the 60s certainly offer extra character, if the video is anything go by.
